Cable Coating

Fire protection coating for underground E & M services

FR-CC-34 Cable coating is a water based fire resistant flexible ablative coating for use in internal applications where there is a need to upgrade the fire resistance of electrical power and command cables. The coating dries quickly and provides a durable finish. It is easily applied by airless spray or brush.

SPECIFICATION COMPLIANCE

The product has been independently tested to the requirements of IEC 60331-21 1999 for circuit integrity of electrical cable under fire conditions. The test installation gave greater than 30 minutes circuit integrity. (Exova Warrington test report 303925)

APPLICATIONS

Fire Protection for long cable runs in industrial buildings. Fire Protection of cables subject to risk of accidental ignition (e.g. foundries) Upgrading the fire resistance of emergency command cabling.

CHARACTERISTICS
