SINGLE COMPONENT WATER-BASED INTUMESCENT COATING 

Pyroco WP is designed for use as an effective Fire retardant intumescent coating system for both interior and exterior wood, fibre board, bamboo fibre and wood composite substrates. It offers a combination of excellent intumescence, meeting.

Class 1 surface spread of flame and Class ‘0’ fire propagation in British standard.

COLOUR

FIRE PERFORMANCE TEST DATA 

Pyroco WP have been extensively tested on a wide variety of substrates to range of British Standards. Full test details and results are available on request from the Vica Fireseals or your nearest distributor. 

It Tests to : 

BS 476 - Part 7 Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame. 

BS 476 - Part 6 Class 0 (fire propagation) 

voc : very low

SURFACE PREPARATION 

All surfaces should be clean, dry and free oil, grease or other contamination. Hardwood and bamboo surfaces should be lightly abraded to improve penetration and adhesion. Pyroco WP can be applied over existing paint coatings and where this application is being carried out over a glossy surface, the existing coating should be lightly abraded to produce a key for Pyroco WP. Note: When applied over existing paint coatings the documented fire performance data is no longer applicable.
